Francesco Lomagistro

Drummer/Percussionist/Educator Francesco Lomagistro
born in Taranto, south of Italy began piano studies at age 11 and later at 16 switched to drums.
His first musical training happens by self taught, then with lessons and clinics with Masters .
He received his Bachelor's degree in “Percussion Instruments” and in “Didactis for Musical Instruments ”.
He is an educator too and teaches “ Percussions” at the Musical Lyceum of Taranto. He is a member of Vic Firth Educational Team since 2005 , and produce didactic video-lessons and he makes clinics around the Country. His versatility has afforded him experience in different musical ambients as Jazz, Pop, Orchestra, Studio recording, sharing the stage with different international artists in different country in Europe, Usa, Asia; he has recorded and participated in different sessions for labels; furthermore he leads different projects with which produced differents album and tour around the world
